Senior Software Engineer
HERO E&C is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of scalable, high-impact systems that transform how engineering solutions are delivered. You will architect and build a civil engineering intelligence platform that integrates AI, data, and modeling into a single decision system used by public-sector clients.
Who You Are
- Proven experience designing and building platform-based data products at scale — at established technology companies, infrastructure software firms, or comparable engineering environments.
- Strong background in developing data-driven systems, distributed architecture, and scalable infrastructure.
- Experience working with or delivering solutions for public-sector clients (federal, state, or local agencies).
- Ability to translate complex engineering workflows into intuitive, automated digital platforms.
What You Will Do
- Architect and build a civil engineering intelligence platform (AI + data + modeling integration).
- Lead end-to-end system design: data pipelines, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and user-facing applications.
- Collaborate with engineers to digitize hydrology, hydraulic modeling, and infrastructure workflows.
- Drive innovation in digital twin systems, real-time analytics, and decision-support tools.
